I recommend it and it tastes great desserts

I found Burgerheart by chance in September 2020. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. I got direct support with my hospital elevator. (The toilet can be reached via the elevator and the staff ran stairs, even supported me) The burger tasted just fantastic. Visited Burgerheart again on my second stay in October '20 and am still enthusiastic about the staff, service and the food. Everything went perfectly with the online booking / delivery and the homemade lemonade also won me over. Keep up the good mood

For over 2 years I've been at Burgerheart every now and then and every time I am completely satisfied. Fortunately, the selection of vegetarian and vegan burgers is also quite large and everything is simply delicious. During the lockdown, I have now and then used the pick-up option. Pre-ordering by phone is very pleasant and friendly and everything works fine on site. All special requests were always correctly considered.

Takes too long

One star for the idea, the second star for the attempt to be sustainable, but then nothing more! Why? Maybe in advance: we have ordered via Lieferando. So, sustainability seems to be found primarily in the non-existent variety of packaging. French fries in a recycled cardboard box, ok. However, the burgers are also squeezed in this rather small box. The joke is that you also get creams in this very large box. For us not to understand. But what actually found it more than unpleasant is the following: we didn't get what we ordered for our money, there was a lack of goods. After a phone call we were told by the 'flower' that the Lieferando driver had 'made the food disappear' because the employee would have packed our food himself and himself and everything would have been there. Well, who is telling which story here now? Regarding the quality of the food: the ideas behind it here and there are interesting and in such a way that you are lured out from behind the oven. Unfortunately, we can't say much more at this point. The burgers were cold after somehow managing to get them out of the squashed box. The same goes for the fries, but they were probably fried in too hot oil, because there were bubbles everywhere on the fries and they are more reminiscent of chips than fries. But what you can and must say is that the dips were delicious and made a fresh impression. All in all, we are little or not enthusiastic and therefore out. We will not order again here.

Sure, everything is a bit expensive ... but really, really delicious! We'll be back 100%. Stay healthy :)

Despite a reservation and not fully loaded, the service took forever. Very loud party company behind us - despite Corona everything only with a little distance. As an adult, you should order at least one more serving of french fries with your burger to keep you full. Lemonades delicious, but so much ice in it that after 10 minutes you hardly have any of it.

Really tasty and juicy burgers. The service is very friendly and nice and the food is served quickly. The prices are moderate. The ambience is cozy and stylish at the same time.

We were served quickly, but after more than half an hour we still had no food. After 40 minutes the waitress came to our table and apologized that our order had been lost. After an hour our food came, but then the wrong menu. As compensation, they gave us a coffee, which we waited another 20 minutes for. :( It's a shame, because the food is actually very tasty but with the lousy service I look for another burger shop.

Very nicely furnished shop with a large selection and fresh ingredients. Unfortunately, the burger really disappointed me in terms of taste. Very dry patty in a too thin and unfortunately cold bun. The dips and fries were delicious. However, it could also be because my palate is very spoiled when it comes to meat and burgers and therefore everyone should see for themselves.

Very tasty burgers. Vegan and vegitarian. Various fries variants. There are also special drinks. Nice service and dog-friendly. In the middle of Rüttenscheid. Very nice.

Great burgers and fries, nice refreshing lemonades and ice tea's and good service. I can recommend :)

An ok burger, fries that were almost cold, pulled pork that didn't have much taste and spareribs that literally had no taste at all and were immensely overcooked. And it only took an hour to prepare this masterpiece of plain food with absolutely zero taste. Amazing. How do they do it?

Wednesday evening, approx. 18:30 - without reservation. We got to two after not even 2 min. Wait a table right away, the ambience is super comfortable and modern, staff extremely friendly and fast! Eat?! Without question the hit! We were / are so enthusiastic and were definitely not the first and last time there! Full 5 * earned!

Friendly service, and great decor, but I have only tried the drink menu so far. We are definitely returning for some burgers, and I'll update my review then.

Crazy delicious

Great atmosphere with lots of space which is ideal when dining with children, and most importantly best burgers in Essen ! With friendly service and good value for money. Vegetarian options are available too and the salads are filing and very tasty.. we also love going to burgerheart for breakfast since the choice is different than what you’d typically find in the area.

This location is one of the places you will always recommend and talk about over and over. Amazing location, great service, and delicious food. Burgerheart in Essen is absolutely my favorite restaurant. This past Thursday was my 3rd time there this week and it was delicious as always. Great combination of amazing flavor and gigantic portions. Our waitress was wonderful. She was so accommodating and took excellen t care of us. The Maennersalat, Maedchenburger, fries and cheesecake are out of this world. Anyone looking for an amazing dinner in Essen, this is the place to go!
